Thermo Scientific Q Exactive HF-X Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap
The Proteomics facility offers services for the quantitative analysis of proteins and the characterization of their interactions and post-translational modifications. A Thermo Scientific Q Exactive HF-X Hybrid Quadropole-Orbitrap mass spectometer is available, coupled to a specialized RSLCnano system (Ultimate 3000, Thermo) for peptide separation.
Services
-
Differential proteomic analysis of tissues, cell lysates, or other protein sources using label-free quantification
-
Differential proteomic analysis using reporter ion labeling (e.g. TMT, iTRAQ)
-
Targeted proteomic analysis of specific proteins
-
Quantification of panels of human serum proteins
-
Identification of protein complex components (e.g. in immunoprecipitates or after affinity chromatography)
-
Identification of post-translational modifications on specific proteins
-
In-gel digestion and identification of proteins from SDS-PAGE gels
-
Meta-proteomic analysis of microbiomes (e.g. in fecal samples; experiments should preferably be complementary to genomic approaches)
Sample preparation
